How Often Should We Meet?

Mark usually meets with his clients every two weeks, however in urgent situations, he may recommend meeting weekly for a period of time. In situations of relational betrayal, such as pornography or an affair, Mark will often "leap-frog" sessions: meeting with a couple one week, and an individual the following week.

Individual-$125 for a 50 Min. Session

Prior to the first session we will ask you to fill out a Personal Data Inventory. This PDI form helps Mark to understand the details of your counseling needs.

Couple/Family-$150 for a 50 Min. Session

As in the individual sessions, we will ask all parties to fill out a Personal Data Inventory to give Mark an understanding of your needs in counseling.

Insurance

As a biblical counselor, Mark is not licensed by the State of California to be able to file insurance claims. He is, however, able to accept payments through a Health Savings Account. Additionally, some health care plans, like PPOs, offer reimbursement for treatment from out-of-network providers.

What is the office cancellation policy?

If an issue comes up whereby you need to cancel your appointment, please give the office 24 hours notice. Any appointment canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time will be billed at the full fee for the session.

How do I prepare for my first meeting with Mark?

Prior to your first meeting, we will email a form that we call a Personal Data Inventory. This PDI form helps Mark prepare for your first meeting, and to do that preparation, he will need to receive it back 2 days prior to your appointment time

What forms of payment does Mark take?

For tracking purposes, Mark prefers payment via Zelle. His Zelle account is his cell number: 805-390-7513. As an alternative, you may pay via Venmo, credit card, check or cash.
